At the New York Post NYC Start-UP event last Wednesday, we received a lot of interest in our Chelsea Virtual Office program so we decided to detail what it involves:
It costs $99 per month, and has 3 main features: a Phone Component; a Mail Component; and a 1/2 Price Room Rental Component. For the $99 a month, you get:
The Phone Component – Includes a direct dial-in phone number (not a general number or extension); voice mail that you can retrieve and adjust your messages easily via remote; and live phone answering during business hours (a hundred live calls courteously answered in you/your company’s name, per month). You can also use our community fax machine at $1 per page, and can include that fax number on your business card and letterhead.
The Mail Component – You get a postal mailbox; the ability to call and check your mail and have it forwarded to you; and your name and company listed on our building’s electronic lobby directory. People, couriers and messengers can pick-up or drop-off items and packages for you at our reception desk at anytime of the day or night, including weekends. And for added marketing and networking opportunities, we can place your introductory fliers of your offerings in the mailboxes of your 200-plus Neighbors in our community free-of-charge.
The 1/2 Price Room Rental Component – You get the ability to rent an office or conference room by the hour and pay only half-price (you are charged $30 per hour for our smallest 1-4 person conference room, instead of the standard $60 per hour that we charge for rentals from people who are not Virtual Office Neighbors). And you are charged in half-hour increments, so if your meeting is only 30 minutes, you’ll be charged only $15!
We’re also open WITH RECEPTION/STAFF ON-DUTY 24 hours a day – 7 days a week — we never close!
There’s a yearly fee of $299, and we require a pre-payment of the first month, the last month, and one month’s security deposit, for a total opening charge fee of $596. All sign-up and monthly fees are handled through credit card charge authorization so you can even sign-up and become a Virtual Office Neighbor via fax or email.
It only takes 20 minutes to sign up and become a Virtual Office Neighbor . . . it’s all that simple.
And you can discontinue your participation in this program at the end of any month, as long as you notify us of your decision by the 1st day of that last month (so you don’t have to stay with the program a full year — a 2 month minimal term commitment is all it takes).
